Industrial technologist (4 months)

In the industrial technologist program, you’ll gain fundamental knowledge and hands-on experience in basic and advanced industrial processes, procedures, planning, management and safety. Prepare to spend time in both classroom and shop settings, learning from industrial technologists with extensive experience.


Radiological Control Technologist (320 hours)

In this program, you’ll learn about radiological instrumentation, safety and survey techniques. You’ll be expected to).

  • Pass the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) RCT core exam
  • Complete a 40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER certification program
  • Complete respirator training and radiological worker training

Meeting all these requirements will allow you to work with for DOE and at commercial nuclear sites.

Welder helper (100 hours)

This training program meets OSHA requirements. After completing this program, you’ll know how to apply your knowledge of metallurgy welding technology in practical ways. Course topics include:

  • Blueprint safety
  • Carbon arc welding
  • Drafting
  • Gas metal arc welding
  • Oxy-acetylene welding
  • Plasma welding
  • Practical math
  • Shielded metal arc welding
  • Types of metal

This training program meets OSHA requirements.

Mechanical helper (160 hours)

This training program will allow you to gain practical experience working on various mechanical systems. Course topics include:

  • OSHA safety
  • Practical math
  • Print reading and troubleshooting
  • Scaffolding and rigging
  • Use of shop equipment and power tools

This program will equip you with a wide variety of skills.
